M&A Timeline

Preparation - 4 weeks

We conduct in-depth readiness activities for the M&A process, which includes owner meetings, business discovery, financial review, Q&A, and preparing confidential teaser and information memorandum. This critical groundwork paves the way for a successful outcome and maximum shareholder value.

Bid and Offer - 4 weeks

Interest from potential buyers leads to sharing detailed information and facilitating initial discussions. After evaluating the business through preliminary assessments, interested parties will present non-binding offers, outlining proposed terms and valuation.

Completion - 4 Weeks

The deal concludes with both parties agreeing to the final terms, drafting and signing legal agreements, and transferring shares and funds. Expert legal advice is sought to ensure accurate and protective documentation.

Matching - 8 weeks

Our focus then shifts to identifying suitable target acquirers, strategically aligning with businesses or financial entities that complement or seek to invest in your business's potential. Their culture, quality, strategy, history and financial viability are our criteria for shortlisting serious candidates before sharing your business teaser.

Due Diligence - 4 to 8 weeks

Satisfactory initial offers move into an in-depth due diligence phase, where we assist in presenting your company's financial, tax, legal, and commercial standings for thorough examination. This stage solidifies the buyer's commitment, culminating in a final binding offer.

Total Timeline

This is a guide, however each deal is unique with its own set of challenges, but typically our M&A process spans from 6 months to 12 months. Our structured and controlled approach ensures both buyer and seller meet their strategic M&A objectives quickly and efficiently.
